Dear PCR Members,
During the voting for the ratification of the proposed revisions to the Articles of Incorporation (AOI) of the PCR held in October 15, 2015, we like to thank you for your participation and the large turn out of more than three hundred voters.
However, with the growing membership of now more than one thousand members in good standing, the PCR, in accordance with Philippine Law has to garner a two-thirds majority affirmative vote to allow revisions to its Articles of Incorporation.
In this light, we like to again ask all the members of the PCR to participate on February 19, 2016 as the proposed revisions to the Articles of Incorporation of the PCR are again submitted to the body for voting. The short 2-page proposed revisions to the Articles of Incorporation are downloadable as PDF from the PCR website, and are the same as presented to the members last February and October 2015. Printed copies are likewise available from the PCR Secretariat.
Only a single YES or NO or ABSTAIN vote is asked from every member, so we may know your position on the proposed revisions to the Articles of Incorporation of the PCR.
There is a new Revised Proxy Form for this voting on the AOI, that you may download from the PCR website. Proxy Forms are also available from the PCR Secretariat.
All versions of the Proxy Form for the purpose of the ratification of the proposed AOI clearly stated are considered valid. Those who have assigned their proxy previously can opt to fill-up a new Proxy Form, or maintain the previous one.
The Proxy Forms may be submitted directly to the PCR Secretariat office. Alternatively, accomplished proxy forms may also be scanned and sent to this email address: email@example.com.
The current duly elected Board of Directors and Officers appeals to all PCR members in all institutions and all provinces to fill up a proxy form, so we may reach the required number of members and votes for the proposed revisions to the Articles of Incorporation. If a member wishes to vote in person on February 19, 2016 at the Annual Convention, his/her proxy form shall automatically be pulled out and returned to him/her.
The PCR secretariat is now working extensively on the nationwide dissemination and collection of the Proxy Forms.
Thank you for your active participation and genuine concern for the betterment and growth of the Philippine College of Radiology.
